VFNO-Madrid

VFNO Madrid 2011, Photocall. It's very awkward but for this edition of VFNO I've choosen a total look by italian designers!Wearing Gianbattista Valli dress, shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti and clutch by Nice Things.

Back in London after a wonderful and busy week down in New York. And i'm actually packing to head off for Madrid Fashion Week today!!! This has been my third year in a row at Madrid's VFNO! and as usually I always get to enjoy myself so much! :) At the vip lounge down in c/Serrano I  bumped into loads of my friends and after arriving in a convertible Audi (courtesy of Vogue) I head to Nice Things (Argensola 3) with Pelayo meanwhile Miranda went to Suarez, both to start our dj sets! By the time we arrive to calle Argensola, there's already so many people waiting for me to start my set and I quickly go and change for a more comfy outfit, choosing a lovely mustard dress by Nice Things(I wanted to thank everyone at Nice Things, specially Aida for looking after me so well and making that night one of the best at vfno!)... Few minutes later my friend Pedro from Vogue.es (CLIK TO SEE THE VIDEO. minute 2.44) arrives to film  me on a little interview for VFNO . I keept spinning the records till 12am meeting so many lovely people who came to say Hi! Also wanted to thank everyone who I met that night, you guys totally rock!!!! After that, all of us (including Paloma junior who is awesome!) went to Ramses where Mario Vaquerizo was dj-ing! It was a magical night...and I cannot wait for next year's to arrive!

While I was in Brazil I did an editorial+interview for Vogue Brazil for their June Issue...and here are the wonderful results! All images by Tinko Czetwertynski  (for behind the scenes video click HERE) I'm wearing..(in order of appearance) dress by Pelu and heels by River Island, white knitted jumper by REISS and playsuit by Tigresse with Corello shoes and handbag, green oversized shirt by Pelu with stripped dress by Tigresse and Corello shoes. All my jewellery is by Vivara.

Vogue UK- feature

It's not like if I get featured on Vogue everyday...I've done it a few times
already on the Spanish,Korean ,French and U.S.A versions of the magazine,
but this time is different. Vogue ,Uk means a lot to me. First, because is one
of my favourite magazines and second because it's from my "adoptive country".
This whole story begun this summer,on a hot evening of june in London . I was
running late , trying to run as fast as I could ,in order to get on time to my
appointment with Emily Sheffield at Claridges. After the major run I promised
myself to quit smoking . ( which I haven't accomplished yet, of course).
Once there, she was warm, funny(we even got to bump into Russel Brand!) and I
immediately realised why she was working for vogue, 2 word: strong-woman.
That's it...after talks, she asked me if I wanted to be involved in one of
the stories that they were running every month. And by july, Emma arranged a
shooting date with me. It took place at my new apartment down East London.
I got to wear those amazing Balenciaga shoes that you have probably seen already,
even tho, unfortunately that picture hasn't been published. The story was about
our ever fav pieces of knitwear,so I chose to wear a gorgeous Marc Jacobs
white lace dress(see on the feature) combined with my chunky Rokit Jumper
and Prada booties. For the second outfit I matched a pair of Levi's shorts
with my all-times favourite Dries van Noten cardigan!

Vogue Spain-march 09

press feature
I've been featured in Spanish Vogue march issue 09.
The editorial was about the "new spanish socialites" and when
they've asked me to be one of the 18 guests I felt as if it was
unreal and could not truly believe it!(I'm not sure
if you could even imagine my face when they told me)
I felt so honored that I only got to believe it when I saw the article printed.
I enjoyed so much the photo shoot(as I usually do).Laura Ponte(spanish model)
had her pictures taken just before me,so I got to meet her properly, and  I
have to say she's much more prettier in flesh!
The Dior dress I wore in the picture(and shoes),was one of the options that
Sara the stylist, wanted me to wear. The other outfit was a Louis Vuitton
little black dress, with snake and stones. It was truly amazing!!!
I still cannot believe it yet!It feels so weird to see yourself in Vogue!
Thanks so much for all your emails, means a lot to me.
